獅子是中華傳統文化中的吉祥瑞物，舞獅活動歷史悠久，現已成為香港非物質文化遺產之一。兒童透過觀賞圖片、影片及親身探索獅頭，認識舞獅是中國傳統民俗活動，加深對中國傳統文化的了解及興趣。兒童共同製作獅頭，一起進行舞獅及採青遊戲，從活動中感受民俗活動的熱鬧氣氛，透過這些體驗，引起兒童對中國傳統習俗活動的興趣，促進傳統文化傳承，提升了兒童對國民身份的認同，並建立正確的價值觀和態度。

活動簡介

教師運用拼圖遊戲，讓兒童認識「東方龍」與「西方龍」特徵上的區別，藉此機會，兒童透過不同物料合作演繹「龍」，把學到的概念實體創作出來，遷移運用。
透過觀賞有關「龍鬚糖」傳統手工藝製作過程短片，誘發兒童發現，「龍鬚糖」的一絲絲銀白色，仿如「龍鬚」的特徵，故引起命名。
兒童運用雙手，透過拉、扯的技巧結合喜歡的口味，仿效製作傳統手工藝，並一起品嚐。
從認識「龍」的特徵中，延伸至認識相關的傳統食品，認識傳統中華文化習俗，學習欣賞及承傳中國傳統的手工藝。

Due to the pandemic, many children have missed out on the opportunity to visit Chinese restaurants and enjoy tea, so they lack of knowledge the culture of drinking tea and eating dim sum.
This activity allows children to understand the characteristics and types of dim sum and experience the exquisiteness of Chinese craftsmanship through the steamer-making activity.
Children can learn about Chinese food culture by simulating restaurant visits, cultivating dietary skills, etiquette, and social skills.

Objectives

・Recognize the basic characteristics of Chinese facial makeup (shape, color and pattern).
・Train hand-eye coordination ability.
・Learn to appreciate the makeup patterns on the faces of traditional opera actors.

Brief Descriptions

Facial makeup is the painting on the faces of traditional opera actors and is one of the traditional Chinese arts. By appreciating videos and pictures, children can observe the different shapes of facial makeup and understand the basic characteristics of Chinese facial makeup (most facial makeup is symmetrical, and different figures and roles have different patterns). During the process, children are taught the basic procedures and steps of facial painting, and children are guided to abide by specific specifications in their free creations. After the activity is completed, children’s works are displayed to create an atmosphere that promotes traditional art.
