Brief Descriptions
Due to the pandemic, many children have missed out on the opportunity to visit Chinese restaurants and enjoy tea, so they lack of knowledge the culture of drinking tea and eating dim sum.
This activity allows children to understand the characteristics and types of dim sum and experience the exquisiteness of Chinese craftsmanship through the steamer-making activity.
Children can learn about Chinese food culture by simulating restaurant visits, cultivating dietary skills, etiquette, and social skills.

Objectives
・Learn about the traditional Chinese art of “Shadow Play”.
・Exploring the connection between light and darkness.
・Gain an understanding and appreciation for different shadow art performances.
Brief Descriptions
Exploratory activities bring a lot of joy to children. By experiencing different sensory stimuli, they can learn about Chinese culture and the fascinating art of “Shadow Play”. This traditional folk art is a fantastic way to help children understand their heritage, while also cultivating their interest in art and a sense of national pride.
During these activities, children are encouraged to interact with each other through observation, communication, discussion, co-production, and co-performance. This helps promote their language expression ability, creativity, and inquiry skills, which in turn encourages autonomy, independence, and the courage to tackle challenges.

Brief Descriptions
Nowadays, children are proficient in using modern technology, but they may not be familiar with the toys and gadgets that were popular among ancient children. By engaging in interactive learning activities centered around traditional Chinese toys, we aim to educate children about these gadgets and help them appreciate the ingenuity of their ancestors. Not only do these simple and eco-friendly toys offer entertainment, but they can also bring joy and happiness.

兒童享受探究活動帶來的樂趣，透過一系列多元感官刺激，從瞭解光與影子的關係中認識中華文化——《皮影戲》。皮影戲是我國民間優秀的傳統藝術，幫助兒童瞭解民間藝術的同時，亦激發他們對藝術的興趣，培養民族自豪感。在活動中，通過觀看、交流討論、共同製作、合作表演等多種活動形式，促進兒童的語言表達能力、創造力及探究力等方面的發展，從而培養他們自主、獨立、勇於挑戰困難的精神。

活動簡介
因為疫情的關係，兒童少了去酒樓飲茶的體驗，缺乏飲茶的常識和相關經驗，大部份兒童對中國人喜歡吃點心的文化也不認識。是次活動，讓兒童認識到點心的特色和種類，亦透過製作蒸籠活動，能讓兒童體驗到中國工藝的精細，在模擬上茶樓的遊戲中認識到中國傳統的飲食文化，從中能培養飲食的禮儀及社交技巧。
